Privacy Policy

Effective August 14, 2026 · Local-first browser workflow automation.

What SkipPaste accesses

When you use SkipPaste, the extension may access webpage content on websites you choose so it can identify values, teach field connections, combine selected sources with Fusion, preview transfers, fill approved form fields, repair saved workflows, and undo the most recent fill.

What SkipPaste stores

SkipPaste Free stores its working data locally in your browser, including saved workflows, temporary captures, Data Tray records, Fusion working data, settings, and run history. You can delete saved workflows, records, history, and temporary captures from the extension.

What SkipPaste sends to us

SkipPaste Free does not transmit captured webpage content, saved workflow data, Data Tray records, Fusion source data, or run history to a SkipPaste server. The Free release does not require a SkipPaste account.

How data is used

Data accessed by the extension is used only to provide the user-facing purpose of moving information between webpages and supporting related features such as preview, Fusion conflict resolution, workflow repair, local history, backup/export, and undo.

Sharing and advertising

SkipPaste Free does not sell user data. It does not use captured webpage content for personalized advertising, retargeting, or interest-based advertising. SkipPaste Free does not share captured webpage content with third parties.

Consequential actions

SkipPaste fills user-approved fields but does not automatically press a website's final Submit, Send, Purchase, Confirm, or equivalent consequential-action button. The user remains responsible for reviewing and submitting the final form.

Local exports

If you choose to export a workflow or backup, SkipPaste creates a local JSON file for you. You control where that file is stored and whether you share it.

Security

SkipPaste uses browser extension APIs and browser-provided local storage. The extension does not load or execute remotely hosted code in the Free release.

Chrome Web Store Limited Use

The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. SkipPaste uses accessed data only for the user-facing browser workflow features described in this policy and does not sell it, use it for personalized advertising, or use it to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.

Changes to this policy

If future versions introduce accounts, cloud synchronization, analytics, paid services, or other data practices that materially change how user data is handled, this policy will be updated and applicable disclosures or consent will be provided as required.
